Got the WO carb installed on the CJ2a and am getting ready for fine tuning. I don't have a PCV valve on the manifold, and the nut where it should be is frozen. However, I have a small (1/4") port just under the carb where the vacuum wiper line was hooked up. I plugged in the vacuum gauge and it shows decent vacuum there. Is this a suitable location to hook up the vacuum gauge?
Thanks,

Unfortunately no. You need intake manifold vacuum for a truer reading. Are any other ports available on the intake manifold? I do strongly recommend installing a PCV at your earliest opportunity.

To clarify, is the 1/4” in the manifold itself ?..... If so that should provide accurate vacuum for testing.

Yes, it comes right out of the intake manifold.
